Warehouse Lead in Champlin, Minnesota at Action Overhead Garage Door

Action Overhead Garage Door is looking for a motivated and hands-on Warehouse Lead to help oversee the daily operations of our warehouse. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys leading by example, keeping operations organized, and working alongside a team in a fast-paced environment.

As the Warehouse Lead, you'll partner closely with the Warehouse Manager to ensure inventory is accurate, materials are prepared for our installation and service teams, and warehouse operations run safely and efficiently.

• Lead the daily organization and workflow of the warehouse.
• Receive, organize, and maintain inventory.
• Assist with inventory control and cycle counts to ensure accuracy.
• Prepare materials and job orders for installation and service technicians.
• Build and prepare door hardware, track, springs, insulation, and other materials for upcoming jobs.
• Operate forklifts and warehouse equipment safely.
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse.
• Train, mentor, and support warehouse team members.
• Promote and enforce company safety policies and procedures.
• Work closely with management to improve processes and maintain operational efficiency.
• Provide exceptional internal customer service by supporting field teams with timely and accurate material preparation.

• High school diploma or GED.
• 5+ years of warehouse, distribution, or related experience.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience operating forklifts or willingness to become certified.
• Ability to regularly lift up to 80 pounds.
