The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth through proactive customer acquisition, strategic partnership development, and coordination of marketing initiatives across all branches. This role focuses on identifying and securing new commercial business opportunities, particularly recurring service contracts, while supporting branch-level marketing execution and ensuring alignment with company branding and compliance messaging.


Key Responsibilities


Business Development & Sales

· Identify, qualify, and secure new commercial clients for fire safety inspections, system installations, maintenance contracts, and related services.

· Develop and maintain a consistent pipeline of contacts through prospecting methods including cold outreach, site visits, networking, referrals, and analysis of permit and market data.

· Establish and maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders, including property managers, facility leaders, general contractors, and industry partners.

· Target high-value verticals such as industrial facilities, commercial offices, healthcare, retail, restaurants, and multi-location organizations.

· Increase average customer value from $3500 to +$5000 through new customer acquisition

· Target $10M in new customer revenue annually


Marketing Coordination


· Plan and coordinate marketing activities across all branches, including digital campaigns, social media, email communications, and local events.

· Ensure consistency in branding, messaging, and educational content, particularly related to fire safety compliance and prevention standards.

· Monitor and evaluate marketing performance metrics to support lead generation and recommend improvements.

· Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align marketing initiatives with business development objectives.

Strategy & Cross-Functional Collaboration


· Partner with branch leadership and operations teams to identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities.

· Maintain awareness of applicable fire safety codes, regulations, and industry trends to support consultative selling.

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.

Must be able to travel.
