Our kitchen operates between 5:30 AM and 6:30 PM, giving you a better work-life balance than traditional restaurant hours.
Current shifts include:
- 5:30 AM – 1:30 PM
- 10:30 AM – 6:30 PM

What You'll DoAs a Cook at Waterford Senior Living, you'll prepare fresh, nutritious meals that residents look forward to every day.
Responsibilities include:
- Preparing breakfast, lunch, and dinner according to planned menus and standardized recipes.
- Cooking meals that accommodate therapeutic diets, modified textures, and resident preferences.
- Ensuring food is prepared, presented, and served with quality and consistency.
- Monitoring food temperatures and completing required food safety documentation.
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen.
- Assisting with inventory, stocking, and proper food storage.
- Working closely with the Dietary Manager and kitchen team.
- Assisting with holiday meals, resident celebrations, and special events.

Restaurant, café, catering, banquet, school, hospital, or senior living cooking experience is welcomed—but not required. If you have a passion for cooking, we'll teach you the rest!
Requirements: Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to pass a Wisconsin Caregiver Background Check.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Food Safety Certification is preferred but not required.
