POSITION TITLE: Thrift Store Associate (Part-time)

REPORTS TO: Thrift Store Manager

MAJOR FUNCTIONS: Receive, sort, and stock incoming donations and provide support throughout store as needed.

• Responsible for receiving, pricing, cleaning and conduct proper set up of houseware items.
• Test and clean incoming electronics.
• Cashier responsibilities as needed.
• Complete cleaning checklist duties as assigned.
• Ensure that the store is well maintained, clean and inviting.
• Ability to work independently or as a team member.
• Follow all store opening and closing procedures.
• Oversee volunteers
• Follow CASA’s policies and procedures.
• Other related duties as assigned by management.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum of 3-years Retail experience required
• Demonstrate working knowledge of electronic equipment and ability to conduct proper set up for display and sale.
• Experience in staging all types of products.
• Possess the ability to climb stairs and lift at least 50 pounds
• Possess a valid Florida State Driver’s License and *proof of auto insurance to be annually verified
• Agree to participate in a background check
• Ability to multitask and meet multiple deadlines
• Schedule may vary. May be required to work a flexible schedule
• Ability to work independently or as a team member.
• All employees of CASA are considered “essential” and as such may be required to be available to remain onsite and/or required to assist during emergencies and other critical times.
