Patient Assisted Parking Attendant in Albany, New York at Ladgov Corporation

Schedule:
Full-time position, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, excluding Federal holidays. Approximately 40 hours per week. Continuous coverage is required during operating hours.

Summary:
The Patient Assisted Parking Attendant will assist patients and visitors with vehicle drop-off, parking, retrieval, and pickup services at the Samuel S. Stratton VA Medical Center in Albany, NY. The attendant will provide safe, courteous, and efficient parking assistance while ensuring patient wait times remain within required service standards.

Requirements:

• Valid U.S. driver’s license with at least 2 years of driving experience.
• At least 6 months of patient assisted/valet parking experience in a healthcare environment.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and fluent in English.
• Must successfully complete required VA background screening, fingerprinting, orientation, and training.

Duties:

• Safely receive, park, retrieve, and return patient and visitor vehicles.
• Assist patients and visitors at the designated drop-off and pickup area.
• Secure vehicle keys, maintain vehicle tracking/claim-check records, and coordinate with other attendants.
• Complete required daily logs and promptly report accidents, damage, safety concerns, or other incidents.
