About the role

As a Flex CDL Driver, you are a versatile member of the distribution team responsible for supporting delivery operations across multiple locations. This role is designed for a flexible, dependable professional who can step in wherever needed—covering routes, supporting warehouse operations, and ensuring materials are delivered safely and efficiently. You will play a key role in maintaining operational continuity by filling in for drivers during absences while assisting with day-to-day logistics. We are seeking a team-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, adapts quickly, and takes pride in reliability and execution.

What you'll do

• Safely load, transport, and deliver materials to job sites and company locations
• Travel between pick-up locations and regional branches as needed
• Fill in for drivers during absences, including vacations and call-outs
• Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely and accurate deliveries
• Communicate effectively with the Warehouse Manager regarding schedules and updates
• Complete end-of-day documentation and check-out procedures accurately
• Assist with loading, unloading, and general warehouse operations
• Operate forklifts and handle materials safely and efficiently
• Transport company vehicles or assets as directed
• Support overall branch operations and assist with additional duties as assigned

Minimum Skills & Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL with current medical card and insurable driving record
• Experience driving CDL A vehicles (tractor trailers)
• Ability to learn and use inventory and delivery software systems
• Experience in warehouse operations and inventory management
• Ability to lift 75–100 lbs consistently
• Ability to stand, bend, twist, and climb ladders throughout the workday
• Ability to follow all safety procedures and company policies
• Strong communication skills and team-oriented mindset
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Forklift experience or certification (preferred)
• Experience in roofing or building materials distribution (preferred)
