Job Description
Job Summary:
As a Box Room Utility , you will play a crucial role in our operations by ensuring the efficient production and distribution of boxes throughout the facility.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Operating the box former machine to create boxes of various sizes according to specifications.
- Keeping accurate records of the number of boxes produced during each shift.
- Performing changeovers on the box former machine to accommodate different box sizes, as well as cleaning and maintaining the machine by wiping and scrubbing glue nozzles.
- Transporting boxes to different departments within the facility using a pallet jack.
- Bringing boxes from storage areas to the box maker machine using a pallet jack, ensuring a steady supply of materials.
- Maintaining records of defective boxes for credit purposes, contributing to quality control efforts.
- Cleaning and maintaining the box room area to ensure a safe and organized workspace.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs repeatedly
Schedule:
2nd Shift: 2:00pm to 10:30pm
