MAINTENANCE MECHANIC in Deer Park, Texas at CADECO

As an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic, you are fully responsible for the predictive and preventative maintenance processing equipment and associated support equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and repair all production equipment and all support equipment
• Coordinate work duties with Maintenance Manager and Production Manager
• Proper use and maintenance on all tools.
• Responsible for daily record keeping, including work orders, material requisitions, and activity reports
• Responsible for all work being done in a proper and timely fashion.
• Written and verbal communication with plant
• Maintain preventive maintenance on all equipment and machinery within the plant
• Assist with diagnosing problems, dismantle defective machines and equipment, and install new or repaired parts
• Provide technical, customer relations, and personnel management for major programs and projects
• Visually inspect and test machinery to detect malfunctions
• Assist with identifying foreign materials
• Ensure safety by following all company policies including safety rules, procedures and Lock-out / Tag-out procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices, SQF, HACCP, personal safety standards, food safety standards as well as OSHA standards.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

• Provide your own tools.
• Electrical experience, low voltage up to 480VAC.
• Mechanical, pneumatic experience.
• Read/comprehend manuals and parts schematics.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Climb ladders.
• Work weekends

Preferred:

• Bilingual: English/Spanish
• Welding and fabrication
