We are seeking a friendly, dependable, and experienced Bartender to join our Food & Beverage team at the EVEN Hotel Lakewood Ranch Sarasota. This position is responsible for providing excellent guest service while preparing and serving beverages and maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming bar environment.

Responsibilities
Greet guests promptly and provide friendly, professional service.
Prepare and serve cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and standards.
Take food and beverage orders and enter them accurately into the POS system.
Provide knowledgeable recommendations regarding cocktails, beer, wine, and menu items.
Process cash, credit card, and hotel room-charge transactions accurately.
Set up, stock, and maintain the bar before and throughout service.
Monitor liquor, beer, wine, mixers, garnishes, glassware, and other bar supplies.
Maintain a clean and organized bar, service area, and guest seating area.
Follow proper alcohol-service procedures and verify identification when required.
Monitor guests for responsible alcohol consumption.
Communicate effectively with kitchen and Food & Beverage team members.
Complete opening and closing duties, including cleaning, stocking, and securing the bar.
Follow all food-safety, sanitation, alcohol-service, and hotel standards.
Assist with additional Food & Beverage duties as needed.
Qualifications
Previous bartending, restaurant, or hotel Food & Beverage experience preferred.
Knowledge of standard cocktails, spirits, beer, and wine.
Strong guest-service and communication skills.
Friendly, professional, dependable, and able to work independently.
Ability to multitask and work efficiently during busy service periods.
Comfortable using a POS system and handling guest payments.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift approximately 30–40 lbs.
Must meet all applicable requirements for serving alcoholic beverages.
Must be available for evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
