Level 2 – Low Voltage Audio/Video Technician II

Summary:

Performs installations independently and assists with system commissioning and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities:

· Install and terminate structured cabling systems.

· Mount and connect AV equipment, displays, projectors, speakers, and control devices.

· Read blueprints, floor plans, and wiring diagrams.

· Conduct cable certification and testing.

· Troubleshoot basic system issues.

· Coordinate with customers and other trades on-site.

· Maintain project documentation and as-built drawings.

Qualifications:

· 2–4 years of low-voltage or AV installation experience.

· Understanding of networking fundamentals.

· Experience with cable testing equipment.

· Ability to work with minimal supervision.
