Job Description
Tokai Carbon GS is looking to add to its world class team of highly trained and skilled personnel. We provide carbon and graphite solutions for Aerospace, EDM, Fuel cell and Semiconductor markets. Tokai Carbon GS has earned a reputation for leading the industry in precision manufacturing.
Essential Functions:
- Plan and Implement Ground, Overnight and LTL.
- Receiving products from vendors.
- Stage products for shipping.
- Coordinating shipping methods and scheduling for final products.
- Coordinating shipping methods to/from subcontractors.
- Storing and retrieving manufactured finished goods inventory.
- Storing and retrieving purchased finished goods inventory.
- Ensuring the safe, speedy, and most cost-effective way to deliver products to our customers to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Keep records of all shipping transactions for the purposes of verification of costs, negotiating with vendors, other trend analysis
- Coordinate shipping priorities with Inspection and Production Departments.
- Work and effectively communicate with co-workers and supervisors.
- Ability to comply with Tokai Carbon GS standards of operations.
- Ability to adhere to the Core Values of the Company.
- Cleaning at the end of the shift.
- Mechanically inclined.
- High level of attention to detail.
Individual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to the candidate, including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons. A reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00 per hour.

- Domestic Shipping Experience. International a plus.
- WorldShip and Ship Manager knowledge preferred.
- General shipping experience. (wrapping, packing and counting accurately).
- Basic Computer knowledge. (name, save and access files).
- Basic math competence. (adding and subtracting simple fractions).
- Woodworking experience (crate dimensioning and building)
- Hand tool experience. (Chop saw, band saw, circular saw, screw gun).
- Accurately read a tape measure.
