TR Miller Heating, Cooling, Plumbing and Electrical is a fast-growing company built on trust and integrity. We are looking for a dependable and organized Parts Coordinator who will serve as the critical link between our vendors, warehouse, and field teams.

This role is responsible for sourcing, tracking, and organizing specialized parts for residential service and installation work. By maintaining accurate inventory processes, managing warranty claims and returns, and building strong vendor relationships, the Parts Coordinator helps ensure our technicians have the right parts at the right time so we can continue delivering a 5-star customer experience.

Pay and Benefits

  • Pay: $45,000 - $54,000/annually based on experience (overtime eligible)
  • Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide timely special-order parts quotes to technicians to support accurate customer pricing and job approvals
  • Order and coordinate special-order parts, including scheduling pickups and tracking estimated arrival times to minimize equipment downtime
  • Research equipment and complete detailed parts breakdowns to help field technicians identify the correct components for repairs
  • Serve as the primary internal resource for technicians regarding part availability, status, and compatibility
  • Receive, stage, organize, and track parts while supporting standardized warehouse processes
  • Process service warranty returns and unused material returns to maintain accurate and efficient inventory
  • Submit and track warranty claims with manufacturers and warranty partners, ensuring documentation is complete and credits are received promptly
  • Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to support priority sourcing, competitive pricing, and reliable operations
  • Use inventory software and other computer systems to maintain accurate part, order, warranty, and return information
  • Stage materials and perform physical warehouse duties, including lifting, pushing, pulling, and organizing inventory
  • Complete occasional parts deliveries as needed
  • Arrive on time, prepared, and in proper uniform
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:
  • At least 1 year of warehouse, parts, purchasing, or inventory-management experience preferred
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills and a service-focused approach when working with technicians, vendors, and internal teams
  • Able to multitask, prioritize urgent needs, and solve problems in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable using computers and learning inventory-management software
  • Reliable attendance, strong work ethic, and the flexibility to work overtime or additional days during peak seasonal demand
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record for occasional deliveries
  • Willing and able to obtain forklift certification after hire
  • Able to lift, carry, push, pull, and move boxes, pallets, and other materials weighing up to 50 pounds or more; team lifting or equipment should be used when appropriate
  • Able to remain seated for prolonged periods and frequently use a computer, keyboard, and telephone headset
  • Comfortable with occasional exposure to hot and cold warehouse temperatures
  • Everyone is required to submit a pre-employment background check prior to their start date
