1st Shift CNC Setup Machinist, No Mandatory OT, Climate Control Shop!
Monday- Thursday 5:30am-3:30pm

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate vertical and /or horizontal machining equipment.
- Study sample parts, blueprints, drawings, or engineering information to determine methods or sequences of operations needed to fabricate products
- Communicate with programmers to check and ensure that new programs or machinery will function properly and that output will meet specifications.
- Design fixtures, tooling, or experimental parts to meet special engineering needs.
- Make tool changes, offsets and resolve problems.
- Remove burrs, sharp edges and clean parts using buffers, belt sanders and rotary tools.
- Calculate and record dimensions or tolerances, using instruments such as micrometers or calipers.
- Communicate with quality, engineering, supervisory, or manufacturing personnel to exchange technical information.

Preferred skills:
- Minimum of 2 years of Vertical and/or Horizontal machining experience.
- Familiar with Fanuc controls preferred.
- Familiar with Siemens controls a plus.
- Stable work history.
- Mechanical aptitude and desire to learn.
- Forklift operation/certification experience preferred.
- Able to work independently with minimal or no guidance.
- Good physical condition (able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods of time).
- Good verbal communication skills.
