Die Setter in Auburn Hills, Michigan at Amaneos US, Inc.

Position Summary:
The Die Setter is responsible for setting up and maintaining injection molding machines to produce plastic components according to specifications.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Performs mold changes. (Per schedule)
Performs preventative maintenance on molding machines.
Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
Performs 5S.
Perform level 1 preventative maintenance on molding tools.
Supports the comprehensive, continuous improvement philosophy for all Amaneos disciplines.
Performs the job functions in accordance with set policies and procedures to ensure the preservation of the Company Quality Policy.
Complies with Environmental Management System (EMS) requirements and supports environmental objectives, compliance, and continuous improvement efforts.

Preferred Education and Skills:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
3 years of previous die setting experience in plastics manufacturing.
Strong communication skills.
Knowledge of injection molding processes and machine operation.
Ability to read a tape measure.
Ability to use various hand tools.
