Beyond the clinic, Medici is expanding its approach to proactive health through Medici Peptides and Dr. Gabi, our AI health companion.

About the Role:

The Clinical Assistant / Medical Assistant plays an important role in delivering Medici’s Executive Health Exam experience. Working alongside our Registered Nurse and Physician, this individual supports patient care, diagnostic workflows, patient flow, and day-to-day clinical operations while helping create a polished, welcoming, and efficient experience for every patient.

This is a part-time position working 28 hours per week, Monday through Thursday from 7:30 AM to 2:30 PM CT at our Austin clinic.

We are open to candidates at different stages of their healthcare careers, including Medical Assistants and college students pursuing healthcare-related degrees who are interested in gaining hands-on experience in a clinical environment.

This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, professional, eager to learn, and passionate about patient care, preventive medicine, and healthcare.

What you will work on
  • Deliver a polished, concierge-style patient experience by guiding patients through the Executive Health Assessment and explaining each step clearly and professionally
  • Support smooth patient flow throughout the assessment while maintaining patient comfort, privacy, and confidentiality
  • Obtain vitals and assist with patient intake, measurements, and documentation
  • Assist with blood draws and specimen processing based on experience, training, and qualifications
  • Prepare and position patients for DEXA scans
  • Support AI-enabled skin analysis
  • Perform or assist with vision and hearing testing
  • Perform or assist with functional fitness evaluations
  • Accurately document procedures and completed screenings in the EMR
  • Communicate effectively with the RN, physician, and broader clinical team
  • Turn over rooms between patients and maintain clean, stocked, patient-ready clinical spaces
  • Assist with equipment setup, breakdown, and basic troubleshooting
  • Follow all safety, infection control, and HIPAA guidelines
  • Support additional clinic operations as needed, including assisting with our Peptide workflow
What you will bring
  • Current college student pursuing a degree in a healthcare-related field, graduate of a Medical Assistant program, or equivalent clinical or patient-care experience
  • Strong interest in healthcare, preventive medicine, and delivering an exceptional patient experience
  • Previous clinical, healthcare, or patient-facing experience preferred, but not required
  • Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) is a plus, but not required
  • Phlebotomy or venipuncture experience is a plus, but not required
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Professional demeanor and comfort interacting with an executive-level patient population
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to learn and follow structured clinical protocols
  • Ability to work consistently Monday through Thursday from 7:30 AM to 2:30 PM at our Austin clinic

This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on exposure to preventive and executive healthcare while working closely with experienced clinical professionals. You’ll have the opportunity to learn about advanced diagnostic testing, patient care, clinical workflows, and emerging approaches to proactive health in a highly personalized healthcare environment.
