About Renew Health + Recovery:

Renew Health + Recovery provides in-home and virtual substance use disorder treatment, bringing personalized care directly to clients where they live. Our model is designed to support lasting recovery by helping clients build healthier lives while staying connected to their families, communities, and everyday routines. We currently serve clients across 11 states, with a team committed to making high-quality treatment more accessible. We offer a holistic approach to treatment and change the way clients receive care throughout the country. Our program is a year-long, home based, addiction treatment program that works collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to assist clients in their first year of recovery.


JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Serve as a community ambassador for Rewew Health + Recovery by increasing awareness of recovery resources and support services throughout the assigned region.
• Develop and maintain relationships with community organizations, civic groups, service clubs, recovery community organizations, faith-based organizations, senior-serving organizations, senior living communities, law enforcement agencies, fire departments, EMS agencies, educational institutions, community coalitions, and other community stakeholders.
• Engage with local community groups and organizations to promote awareness of recovery resources, wellness initiatives, and support services available through Renew Health + Recovery.
• Attend and participate in community events, health fairs, educational programs, networking opportunities, coalition meetings, civic organization meetings, and recovery-focused activities on behalf of Renew Health + Recovery.
• Provide education and presentations to community members, families, community organizations, public safety agencies, senior-serving organizations, and professional groups regarding substance use disorders, recovery, wellness, and available community resources.
• Foster collaborative relationships with local leaders, community advocates, public safety professionals, civic organizations, faith communities, and organizations that support the health and well-being of individuals and families.
• Support community engagement initiatives aimed at reducing stigma, increasing awareness, and promoting long-term recovery.
• Assist individuals, families, and community members in connecting with appropriate treatment, recovery, and support resources when needed.
• Identify opportunities for partnerships, educational programming, and community initiatives that strengthen local recovery ecosystems.
• Coordinate and participate in community outreach activities, volunteer opportunities, awareness campaigns, and special events.
• Maintain accurate documentation of community engagement activities and partnership development efforts.
• Communicate professionally and ethically with community members, families, partners, and internal teams.
• Collaborate with clinical, admissions, peer support, and business development teams to ensure community needs and feedback are appropriately shared.
• Represent Rewew Health + Recovery in a professional, compassionate, and recovery-focused manner.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Must actively reside within the state of Massachusetts.
    • Must be comfortable with travel (25%-50%) and have a valid driver's license, personal vehicle, and active auto insurance.
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1 year (2 years preferred) of continuous personal recovery from any Substance Use Disorder (SUD) and/or personal experience with addiction in family members or loved ones.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Comfortable working in a field-based outreach and comfortable speaking to mixed audiences.
  • Self-starter with strong motivation and organizational skills.
  • Passionate about helping individuals struggling with substance use disorders.
  • Ability to work ethically and professionally in sensitive environments.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain ethical and professional boundaries in sensitive environments.
  • Preferred but not required: Active or in-progress peer certification (e.g., CCAR, state Peer Recovery Specialist credential) where applicable
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
  • Knowledge of client-centered communication methods.
  • Ability to develop professional relationships with referral partners, treatment facilities and other members of the general public.
  • Must be able to self-start and possess excellent time management skills
  • Appreciation and respect for principles of diversity, equity, and Ability to engage with diverse audiences (age, gender, nationality, race/ethnicity, profession, etc.)

The pay for this position is $17-$19/hr., plus incentive.
