Parts Manager in Columbia, South Carolina at Rechtien International Trucks

Hello, our Columbia, SC location is looking for a qualified trucks parts manager:

Responsibilities

• Forecasting parts needs and ordering parts to maintain optimal inventory levels
• Monitoring the current parts inventory
• Pricing parts to maintain profitability
• Receiving parts, including placing them into inventory and properly labeling them
• Helping customers find and purchase the correct parts
• Become knowledgeable and maintain all company policies and procedures
• Overseeing special orders
• Collaborating with service managers to ensure all parts are available for repair jobs
• Hiring, supervising and training parts department staff members

• Prior parts management experience in a truck dealership preferred
• Management and Parts inventory experience is required
• Pass Drug and Background Test
• Good verbal skills
• Strong people skills
• Ability to interact with various levels of management and customers
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
