Pay Range: $30.00 - $36.82 per hour

The above reflects the anticipated hourly wage range for this position if hired to work in New Jersey.

The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.

Certified Screener

Essential Functions:

  • Assures safety in practice by maintaining a realization of their own individual level of knowledge and experience and assumes responsibility for advancing knowledge by communicating with and utilizing resource persons/programs available
  • The Arrive Together Certified Screener will individualize the plan of care to address a specific patient s needs
  • Works with law enforcement in identified municipalities and other community agencies, to achieve best service possible to patients
  • Responsible for supervising and assisting inpatient care issues as well as follow up on assigned tasks and for consistently setting and evaluating priorities
  • Provides mobile outreach with law enforcement
  • Rides as a passenger in a police car through the identified municipalities
  • Also provide mobile response on foot patrol at Newark Penn Station and downtown Newark locations
  • Shift coverage needed for day and evening hours in the community up until 11pm

Qualifications:

Required:

  • MSW/MA degree in related field, or BA/BS plus three years of prior experience in a psychiatric setting, one of which is in crisis setting
  • OR enrolled in a Master’s program with two years of prior experience in a psychiatric setting, one of which is in a crisis setting
  • Must possess a valid NJ driver's license

Scheduling Requirements:

  • Shift is 3p-11p alternating weekends
  • Must work two holidays per year
