The role combines customer engagement, education, and goal-oriented outreach in a supportive, performance-driven environment. You’ll use active listening, empathy, and persuasive communication to overcome barriers and encourage participation. You’ll also collaborate with internal teams to share member feedback and improve engagement strategies. • Build rapport and trust through active listening, empathy, personalized communication, and a professional approach.

  • Consistently meet engagement and outreach targets by educating members, addressing concerns, and demonstrating the value of program participation.

  • Represent the organization positively and professionally across all member and internal communications, regardless of enrollment outcomes.

  • Handle member information responsibly and follow applicable federal, state, and local requirements, including HIPAA, privacy, security, and protected health information guidelines.

  • Accurately document member interactions and relevant information in required systems and records.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to communicate feedback, identify recurring concerns, and support improvements to outreach strategies.

  • Escalate member concerns and operational issues to leadership when appropriate.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework or a degree is preferred.

  • At least 2 years of experience in sales, customer service, member engagement, or a related field.

  • Healthcare, wellness, or population health management experience is preferred.

  • Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) systems and contact center software is preferred.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to adapt messaging to different audiences.

  • Persuasive communication and negotiation skills, with a focus on understanding and responding to individual member needs.

  • Ability to address objections and enrollment barriers while maintaining compassion, empathy, and respect.

  • Strong organization and attention to detail when managing multiple priorities and member records.

  • Ability to work effectively in a performance-driven environment and consistently pursue established engagement goals.

  • Growth mindset with the ability to learn new strategies, systems, and tools.

  • Ability to work securely in a HIPAA-compliant remote environment.

  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or adjusted schedules is preferred to maximize member outreach opportunities.

  • Bilingual English/Spanish proficiency is preferred.

  • Ability to accommodate limited business-related travel as required.

Benefits
  • 100% remote work opportunity for candidates able to work Mountain or Pacific Time Zone hours.

  • Opportunity to contribute to healthcare-focused member engagement and population health initiatives.

  • Collaborative environment with opportunities to work cross-functionally.

  • Performance-oriented role with opportunities to develop customer engagement and healthcare communication skills.

  • Limited travel, scheduled according to business needs.

  • HIPAA-compliant remote work environment.

  • Flexibility to support member outreach across varying schedules, where applicable.
