Senior Analyst, Revenue Management

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Analyst, Revenue Management based in United States.

This role focuses on evaluating, developing, and optimizing transportation pricing for a large U.S. marketplace. You’ll use data, modeling, and market insights to balance transportation adoption with sustainable margin performance. The position plays an important role in identifying opportunities to increase transportation usage across business units, customer segments, and geographic markets. You’ll analyze buyer behavior, carrier costs, seasonality, and competitive dynamics to inform pricing decisions. The role combines strategic thinking with hands-on analytics, experimentation, and performance monitoring. You’ll work in a fast-paced environment where curiosity, ownership, and data-driven decision-making are central to creating measurable business impact.

Accountabilities:
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of lane-level transportation profitability and build dynamic pricing models aligned with long-term strategic objectives.
  • Analyze how pricing changes influence buyer behavior and transportation usage across customer segments, business units, and geographic territories.
  • Develop models and recommendations designed to increase transportation attach rates while maintaining targeted profitability.
  • Conduct detailed analyses of transportation margins, carrier costs, seasonality, surcharges, and other pricing factors to identify opportunities for revenue and margin improvement.
  • Monitor carrier and competitor pricing, market conditions, seasonal trends, and external factors to maintain competitive positioning and inform pricing strategies.
  • Track key performance indicators including transportation attach rate, margins, costs per mile, and other revenue management metrics.
  • Identify revenue leakage, financial risks, and emerging growth opportunities through proactive performance analysis.
  • Design, implement, and analyze A/B tests, pilots, and other experiments to evaluate new pricing structures and models.
  • Translate complex analytical findings into clear, actionable recommendations for cross-functional partners and senior leadership.
  • Adapt pricing strategies and analytical approaches based on market changes, business performance, and customer feedback.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Data Science, or a related field.
  • 3–5+ years of experience in strategic pricing, revenue management, or a closely related analytical function, ideally within a marketplace or logistics environment.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with demonstrated ability to build models, uncover insights, and support data-driven pricing decisions.
  • Proficiency in SQL and business intelligence tools such as Domo, Tableau, Looker, or comparable platforms.
  • Strong understanding of pricing analysis, profitability, customer behavior, and performance measurement.
  • High level of ownership, adaptability, initiative, and bias for action, with the ability to perform effectively in a high-growth and fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to simplify complex analytical findings for cross-functional stakeholders and senior leadership.
  • Solution-oriented mindset with the ability to investigate the underlying drivers behind performance and translate findings into practical recommendations.
