Job Description
Purpose:
Design manufacturing process, review equipment detail, prepare and maintain documents.
The production engineer also manages and controls process. Analyze current process status by checking FTT and NG.
Key Responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned as needed):
- Production line control and manage
- Update and manage Production and Process document
(PFMEA, Control plan, Work standard, Process flow, Work instruction and manual, Drawings)
- Manage machine change & modification and EO history (Machine parameter and mechanical setting)
- Prepare and manage spare parts
- New model tooling & Machine modification
- Analysis specification about new models and make a plan and list about tooling & modification
- Lead to build samples which’re required during new models’ development
- Need to make PPAP materials and the other customer asks
- Process improvement
- Analyze FTT, NG rate and Capability of each process to meet production target quantity
: To reduce downtime and loss, improvement activities are required
- Etc.
- Common Team task will be share like HPS element and PR
- Basically daytime work (8:00 ~ 17:00 including 1hr lunch time)
: In special condition (Production issue, Downtime and company policy) it can be adjusted and overtime
in weekend and holidays
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
- 4 Year university degree and/or comparable background of work-related experience in Manufacturing Engineering
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office - Excel, PowerPoint, Minitab etc.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Analysis in Geometric tolerance
- Proficient in Software Programing and Comprehension
Legal Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years of age due to federal labor law requirements.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Supervisory Responsibility: None
Working Conditions:
- PPE (safety shoes, safety glasses, earplugs) required when on manufacturing floor.
- Frequent exposure to noise, moving machinery, and energized equipment.
- Frequent work in office and manufacturing floor.
Physical Requirements:
- Requires prolonged standing and walking.
- Occasional weekends/OT
- Constant requirement of using computer and office equipment.
Remote Work: This position is not eligible for hybrid or remote work.
