SHIFT OFFICER - SECURITY in CANTON, Ohio at Aultman Health Foundation

Security Officers work to provide a safe and secure environment for occupants of Aultman facilities and grounds. Security Officers are expected to proactively patrol and monitor Aultman facilities and grounds for the purposes of detecting, deterring, and preventing criminal activity, as well as identifying and mitigating safety concerns as appropriate.

• Minimum Education/Experience
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license with less than 4 points

• Desired Qualifications
  • Graduate of Ohio Peace Officers Training Academy or equivalent preferred
  • Prior or current military, law enforcement, or security experience preferred
  • Associates Degree (or greater) in criminal justice, emergency management, or other related field preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to handle a wide variety of circumstances and conditions

• Must be able to wear ballistic vest with plates

Category II - Includes tasks that involve no exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues, but employment may require performing unplanned Category I tasks. The normal work routine involves no exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues by exposure or potential exposure may be required as a condition of employment. Appropriate protective measures will be readily available to every employee engaged in Category II tasks.
