Job Title: Plate Mounter Department: Press Support

Reports to: Production Supervisor

Shift: 2PM-10:15PM

The Ideal Candidate has worked in manufacturing before, can multi-task, be able to work under pressure constraints to deliver on production, have attention to detail. This type of work can be meticulous and requires patience.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Perform routine operations related to Plate Mounting –including but not limited to lifting print cylinders that weigh up to 25lbs and mount plate on to print cylinder using precise hand/eye coordination.
• Capable of working in a fast-paced environment meeting shift expectations
• Able to plan ahead and prepare for the next job
• Wash plates from completed jobs using plate washer
• Peel sticky back off cylinders
• Stock area with supplies needed – alcohol, soap, tape, etc.
• Read and understand measurements down to .0625”
• Must have the ability to understand direction from group leaders and other technician level employees
• Must demonstrate a good safety record
• Maintains a clean and orderly work environment
• Be able to communicate with all members including members outside the department, for example, platemaking, plate pulling, press operators, leadership etc.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 1-3 years’ experience in manufacturing
• Ability to handle physical workload on average 10lbs, maximum weight 25lbs
• Be able to stand and walk for the duration of the 8-hour shift
