Job Description
Since 1983, Vehrs Distributing has been on a mission to create and deliver the finest premium wine and spirits portfolio in the Pacific Northwest. As we expand our offerings to include non-alcoholic beverages and reach more clients in the Western Washington region, we're looking for an experienced, results-driven Pricing Coordinator.
The Pricing Coordinator is responsible for the integrity, execution, and regulatory adherence of the company’s pricing architecture, gross margin targets, and master item data. Reporting directly to the Vice President Commercial Development, this role serves as the analytical and administrative bridge between supplier costs, sales margin goals, and statutory trade practices.
While working closely with Purchasing, Logistics, and Sales, this role does not handle physical procurement or inventory stocking. · Prepare, audit, and submit statutory price postings, filings, and regulatory documentation in compliance with state and local trade practice regulations.
· Ensure new supplier packets are completed and all documentation is accurate.
· Ensure company pricing schedules adhere to statutory anti-discrimination, fair trade, and mandated price-change lead-time laws.
· Serve as the finance department’s point of contact for pricing-related compliance audits and statutory reporting requirements.
· Confirm non-standard pricing requests are authorized.
· Coordinate promotional pricing schedules, temporary price reductions (TPRs), and volume discount programs in the system with defined start/end dates.
· Monitor promotional pricing structures to ensure they meet statutory filing windows and legal trade promotion standards.
Requirements: Skills & Qualifications· Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (vlookups/xlookups, index/match, nested IF logic, pivot tables, data modeling).
· Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with vendors and internal teams.
· Attention to detail.

· Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., EnCompass, NetSuite, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, or specialized distribution ERPs).
· Deep familiarity with gross margin calculations, tiered distribution models, trade allowances, and statutory commercial filing procedures.
Education Requirements· Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or related discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
· Wine/spirits knowledge preferred.
Experience Requirements
· 3–5+ years in pricing administration, revenue management, financial analysis, or commercial compliance—preferably within wholesale distribution, manufacturing, or heavily regulated consumer goods.
