We are a growing, dynamic real estate law firm providing comprehensive closing, title, and legal services across multiple states. With a strong reputation for professionalism and service, we are expanding our footprint in Vermont and are looking for a paralegal with real estate experience to join our team.
Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented, motivated paralegal to support our real estate closing operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in residential and/or commercial real estate transactions and a strong understanding of Vermont-specific title, closing, and property laws. This role will involve reviewing titles, drafting and reviewing legal documents, and communicating with clients and stakeholders throughout the transaction process.

Position Summary:

This role will involve reviewing titles, drafting and reviewing legal documents, and communicating with clients and stakeholders throughout the transaction process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with residential and commercial real estate closings in Vermont
- Draft, review, and approve legal documents related to real estate transactions (deeds, affidavits, settlement statements, titles, etc.)
- Provide legal guidance to staff, lenders, agents, and clients regarding Vermont real estate law and closing procedures
- Maintain compliance with all applicable laws and professional regulations
- Ensure proper execution and delivery of closing documents
- Participate in business development efforts and support the growth of our Vermont operations
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in real estate transactions preferred
- Experience with HUD-1/CD preparation, title review, title clearing, client relations, closing scheduling, and general office tasks
- Strong knowledge of Vermont real estate law, title review, and closing procedures
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Professional demeanor with a commitment to client service and attention to detail
- Experience with Qualia or similar closing software a plus
