We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Home Care Coordinator (Unlicensed) to support the daily operations of our Home Care Agency and help ensure the delivery of high-quality care and service to our residents and clients.
Position SummaryReporting to the Home Care Director, the Home Care Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting clinical, administrative, and operational functions of the Home Care Agency. This position is responsible for managing medical record documentation, coordinating intake and admissions processes, supporting billing and insurance activities, and maintaining office operations to ensure compliance, efficiency, and exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Review, manage, and maintain home care medical record documentation to ensure compliance with insurance, regulatory, and agency requirements.
- Complete clinical data entry, conduct quality assurance reviews and audits, and identify missing or incomplete documentation.
- Collaborate with clinicians and nursing staff to obtain required documentation and maintain accurate records.
- Coordinate the nursing care plan order process and work closely with scheduling staff to support timely billing and insurance claim submission.
- Assist with client intake and admissions by gathering initial information, coordinating the admission process, and connecting clients with appropriate resources and community agencies.
- Provide administrative and office support, including scheduling appointments and meetings, maintaining employee and client files, preparing reports and correspondence, and facilitating effective communication across the agency.
- Help track and meet critical deadlines while supporting the overall efficiency of Home Care operations.
- Serve as a positive ambassador for the Home Care Agency by promoting services to prospective clients, residents, families, and community partners.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills are essential, along with proficiency in office technology and record management systems.
