Talent Acquisition Recruiter - Temporary

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Talent Acquisition Recruiter - Temporary based in the United States.

This is a remote recruiting opportunity focused on identifying, engaging, and hiring high-quality talent across a variety of professional and operational roles.
You will partner closely with hiring managers and operational leaders to understand workforce needs and develop effective recruiting strategies.
The role covers the full recruitment lifecycle, from candidate sourcing and screening through interviewing, selection, offers, and onboarding coordination.
You will use multiple sourcing channels, recruiting technologies, professional networks, and talent databases to build strong candidate pipelines.
The position also offers opportunities to contribute to recruiting analytics, process improvements, and talent initiatives.
Success requires strong organization, communication, confidentiality, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
This temporary, fully remote role is well suited to a proactive recruiter who enjoys connecting people with meaningful career opportunities.

Accountabilities
  • Partner with hiring managers and operational leaders to understand hiring requirements, establish recruiting priorities, and align sourcing strategies with business needs.
  • Develop comprehensive recruiting and interviewing plans for open positions, including responsibilities, qualifications, compensation considerations, target candidates, and hiring timelines.
  • Source qualified active and passive candidates through internal databases, job boards, professional associations, educational institutions, networking channels, social platforms, and other appropriate recruiting resources.
  • Conduct candidate research, screening, interviews, and skills assessments to evaluate qualifications, capabilities, experience, and overall suitability for available positions.
  • Build and maintain pipelines of qualified candidates to support both immediate hiring needs and anticipated future workforce requirements.
  • Manage the recruitment process through pre-employment requirements, applicant tracking, reference checks, background investigations, and other applicable screening activities.
  • Prepare and coordinate employment offers, communicate opportunities to selected candidates, and support offer discussions and negotiations as appropriate.
  • Collaborate with HR and other internal functions on hiring requirements, compensation considerations, onboarding coordination, and other recruitment-related matters.
  • Monitor and analyze recruiting metrics, identify trends, and recommend improvements that enhance recruitment efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Research and recommend new sourcing strategies, recruiting channels, and technology-enabled approaches for reaching qualified candidates.
  • Maintain accurate, confidential, and secure candidate records and ensure recruiting activities comply with applicable legal and organizational requirements.
  • Follow up regularly with hiring managers to assess recruiting effectiveness, address obstacles, and adjust sourcing or hiring strategies when needed.
  • Support recruiting programs, committees, initiatives, and other talent acquisition activities as assigned.
  • Provide guidance, knowledge sharing, and functional support to less-experienced recruiting colleagues when required.
Requirements
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent; an associate degree is preferred.
  • Previous experience in human resources, recruiting, talent acquisition, customer-facing, or related professional environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to organize and manage multiple recruiting activities, priorities, candidates, and deadlines effectively.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with candidates, hiring managers, HR colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to conduct candidate research and evaluation while maintaining a professional and engaging conversation.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate applicant records and confidential information.
  • Ability to handle sensitive employee and candidate information securely and maintain appropriate confidentiality.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and general business software, with the ability to learn and navigate new recruiting systems quickly.
  • Familiarity with Oracle or other HR/recruiting systems is advantageous.
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with distributed teams.
  • Proactive, organized, adaptable, and capable of managing changing priorities in a fast-paced recruitment environment.
  • Experience with recruiting technology, applicant tracking systems, online sourcing platforms, social/professional networking, or high-volume recruitment is a plus.
