Housekeeper in at Solvang Lutheran Home Inc

Responsibilities:

• Set up linen carts.
• Change beds, exchanging dirty linen for clean linens on beds.
• Thoroughly clean bathrooms and fixtures.
• Spot clean resident room walls and bathroom walls as needed.
• Ceilings and walls must be dusted with a dust mop.
• Mop tile floors. (Waxing when necessary.)
• All bric-a-brac and decorative accessories must be carefully dusted.
• Furniture must be dusted and polished.
• Vacuum carpets.
• Empty trash baskets and wipe with disinfectant.
• Clean common areas, including rest rooms, offices, activity areas, etc
• Wash windows inside and clean blinds as necessary.

Requirements:

• Must pass state required physical, and TB test.
• Must be fingerprinted and free of conviction.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English, verbally and in writing, receive written and oral instructions and possess good interaction skills.
• Must be able to safely perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Prior experience prefered.
