Accountabilities

  • Resolve routine reimbursement issues, documentation gaps, and workflow exceptions, helping minimize delays and improve access-related outcomes.
  • Maintain complete and accurate case records, reimbursement documentation, and system updates to ensure strong operational visibility and reporting readiness.
  • Monitor reimbursement trends, recurring issues, and escalation indicators, identifying opportunities for proactive resolution and improved service continuity.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, healthcare providers, patients, and other external stakeholders to clarify reimbursement requirements and facilitate case resolution.
  • Support consistent communication throughout the case lifecycle, ensuring relevant information is captured and shared appropriately.
  • Contribute to process improvements, workflow enhancements, and operational readiness initiatives designed to make reimbursement support more efficient and scalable.
  • Follow established procedures and operational requirements while maintaining a high standard of accuracy, confidentiality, and customer service.
Requirements
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent practical experience required.
  • At least 2 years of experience in reimbursement support, patient services, customer operations, healthcare support services, case coordination, claims support, or a related field.
  • Experience handling documentation, case records, customer inquiries, follow-ups, and issue resolution in a structured operational environment.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple cases and priorities accurately.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, healthcare professionals, internal teams, and external stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail and a demonstrated ability to identify documentation gaps, inconsistencies, and workflow issues.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a distributed or cross-functional team.
  • Comfortable using business and case-management systems to maintain records, track activities, and support reporting.
  • A certification in reimbursement support, patient access, customer support, service management, CRM systems, or process improvement is considered an asset.
  • A patient-focused, service-oriented approach and commitment to supporting positive healthcare access outcomes.
Benefits
  • Full-time employment opportunity with a remote work arrangement in Ontario, Canada.
  • Comprehensive health and wellness benefits, including medical, dental, and vision coverage.
  • Support for physical, emotional, financial, and social well-being.
  • Programs supporting working families, which may include dependent care, adoption assistance, family-building support, behavioral health resources, and caregiver support.
  • Paid parental and caregiver leave programs, where applicable.
  • Access to training, professional development resources, and mentorship opportunities.
  • Opportunities to participate in employee resource groups and volunteer initiatives.
  • Inclusive and collaborative work environment focused on meaningful impact in healthcare.
  • Equal opportunity and accessible recruitment practices, with reasonable accommodations available throughout the hiring process.
