This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Staff Technical Project Manager based in India.
This is a senior technical leadership role focused on delivering global SAP ERP capabilities across supply chain and manufacturing operations.
You will own and evolve critical Plan-to-Produce and/or Source-to-Pay process models, ensuring consistent solutions across complex ERP environments.
The role combines product ownership, project management, solution architecture, and business transformation.
You will lead SAP MM/PP design, configuration, migrations, integrations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Working with global business, technology, and partner teams, you will translate strategic objectives into scalable technical roadmaps.
The position offers significant influence over enterprise architecture, operational efficiency, and digital transformation across multinational environments.
You will also mentor technical teams and help shape long-term ERP strategy and governance.
- Own the global Plan-to-Produce and/or Source-to-Pay process models and drive digital transformation initiatives across SAP Materials Management and Production Planning.
- Design, configure, maintain, and optimize SAP MM/PP capabilities, including MRP, BOM management, capacity planning, inventory management, and related modules.
- Lead ERP migration initiatives from legacy platforms and custom solutions into the strategic SAP environment, overseeing planning, design, execution, and deployment.
- Analyze technical architecture, research new capabilities, and design integrations and functionalities within the broader SAP ecosystem.
- Provide technical and architectural guidance to development teams, ensuring alignment with global standards, SAP solution extensions, and established best practices.
- Protect application and solution integrity by promoting reusable technical components and preventing redundant or siloed developments.
- Contribute to global ERP product strategy and roadmap definition, prioritizing initiatives based on business value and operational needs.
- Partner with senior business and technology stakeholders to translate requirements into effective technical solutions and communicate project progress, risks, and decisions.
- Build strong relationships across Plan-to-Produce and Source-to-Pay Centers of Excellence and other global functions.
- Mentor junior team members and provide technical leadership and guidance to the global SAP Product Council.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Significant professional IT experience with established leadership credentials across SAP ERP product lines.
- Deep, hands-on expertise in SAP MM or PP, with knowledge of related areas such as WM/EWM, Shop Floor Control, or Quality Management.
- Experience delivering at least five full-lifecycle SAP ERP implementations, covering planning, analysis, design, build, testing, and deployment.
- Strong knowledge of Procurement-to-Pay and/or Plan-to-Produce processes, including integration with SAP FICO and Project Systems.
- Experience with global SAP configuration and highly integrated, multi-site ERP architectures.
- Proven ability to work with executive-level stakeholders, define technology strategies, and manage complex project portfolios.
- Strong business and technical problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business challenges into actionable technology roadmaps.
- Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, communication, and influencing capabilities across cross-functional and international teams.
- Knowledge of emerging manufacturing and supply chain technologies and their integration with SAP.
- Change-oriented mindset with a track record of driving process improvements in complex, multinational environments.
- Strong customer focus and ability to evaluate architectural decisions based on operational efficiency, long-term value, and business outcomes.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across cultures, build consensus, and maintain momentum through complex project challenges.
