Behavioral Health Support - Behavioral Health

Work location: Texas Health Plano - 6110 West Parker Road, Plano, Texas 75093 (This position is for our outpatient clinic)
Work hours: Fulltime; Days, Mon - Fri 8:30 am - 5:00 pm

• Fast Paced, 48 bed inpatient Adult and Adolescent Behavioral Health Units
Here's What You Need
• High school diploma or equivalent
• One-year office experience preferred
What You Will Do
• Usage of basic office equipment (e.g. fax machines, copy machines, phones).
• Knowledge and understanding of various business applications software (e.g. Microsoft Word/Excel/SharePoint)
• Good verbal and written communication skills to include telephone skills
• Exhibits a pleasant, professional, polished presence exhibiting the ability to troubleshoot utilizing critical thinking skills
• Ability to maintain a professional demeanor in a highly stressful and emotional environment, to include behavioral health patients
• Must be able to exhibit a high level of empathy with the ability to effectively communicate with patients and support people during life-changing events, while demonstrating exceptional customer service skills
• Other duties as assigned.
