Physical Therapist (PT) | School-Based

What You'll Do

  • Conduct school-based PT evaluations and re-evaluations
  • Develop individualized, functional IEP goals
  • Provide direct physical therapy services
  • Support gross motor development, mobility, gait, balance, and coordination
  • Evaluate and recommend adaptive equipment and positioning supports
  • Consult with teachers and staff on physical access, mobility, and safe transfer strategies
  • Collaborate with families and interdisciplinary school teams
  • Maintain accurate service documentation and progress notes

What You'll Bring

  • DPT or MPT from an accredited physical therapy program
  • NPTE board exam passage
  • Active state PT license, or documented initiation of licensure transfer
  • Knowledge of IDEA, the IEP process, and the educational model of physical therapy
  • School-based experience, pediatric PT training, and experience with adaptive equipment are preferred
