The Technical Webflow Developer / Frontend Engineer will own the technical evolution of web experiences, developing scalable solutions while supporting daily website operations and team efficiency.
- Translate wireframes and design concepts into clean, modular, and maintainable Webflow structures using industry best practices.
- Develop custom JavaScript solutions, interactive components, and frontend functionality beyond standard platform capabilities.
- Design scalable CMS architectures and automated workflows that improve content management efficiency.
- Build reusable component libraries and modular page elements that allow teams to publish independently.
- Create clean HTML, CSS, and JavaScript implementations focused on performance, accessibility, and maintainability.
- Monitor and optimize website performance, acting as a key owner of technical quality and Core Web Vitals.
- Audit and improve page speed by identifying issues related to scripts, assets, rendering, and overall site structure.
- Partner with UX/UI designers to bring concepts to life while ensuring responsive and technically optimized experiences.
- Support ongoing website updates, publishing workflows, and content management activities as part of a collaborative team.
- Maintain technical documentation, coding standards, and organized systems for long-term website scalability.
- Advocate for performance-focused design decisions and recommend improvements that enhance user experience.
The ideal candidate combines strong frontend development skills with advanced Webflow expertise and a structured approach to building scalable digital experiences.
- Proven experience developing production-level websites using Webflow Designer, CMS collections, and templates.
- Strong knowledge of semantic HTML5, modern CSS3, responsive design principles, and JavaScript/jQuery.
- Experience creating custom frontend interactions, scripts, and dynamic website functionality.
- Demonstrated ability to build reusable components and scalable systems rather than one-off solutions.
- Experience optimizing website performance through tools such as Chrome DevTools, Lighthouse, or similar platforms.
- Strong understanding of web performance principles, including asset optimization, rendering behavior, and page-speed improvements.
- Experience collaborating closely with designers, marketers, and cross-functional teams.
- Ability to balance technical ownership with hands-on participation in content updates and publishing workflows.
