The Senior Consultant Practice Management will lead strategic engagements with financial services organizations, helping them optimize their operating models, implement scalable programs, and adopt innovative solutions. This role combines consulting, program design, executive relationship management, and industry expertise to deliver measurable value for clients.
- Partner with leadership teams at RIAs, broker-dealers, banks, and insurance organizations to align solutions with enterprise goals such as growth, retention, and operational efficiency.
- Design and execute practice management strategies, including implementation plans, adoption roadmaps, and success frameworks for large-scale organizations.
- Develop scalable programs, best practice resources, webinars, playbooks, and educational content that enable advisors and producers to improve performance.
- Create learning paths, maturity models, and enablement strategies tailored to different user groups and organizational needs.
- Conduct discovery sessions with stakeholders to identify workflow challenges, technology gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
- Serve as a strategic voice for enterprise clients, providing feedback and insights to product teams to influence future enhancements.
- Deliver engaging virtual and in-person practice management sessions for advisors, executives, and industry audiences.
- Represent the organization at conferences, client events, and industry gatherings as a subject matter expert.
- Build strong executive relationships and communicate strategic recommendations clearly to senior stakeholders.
- Analyze client data, identify trends, and translate insights into actionable recommendations that improve adoption and business outcomes.
- Manage multiple client initiatives while operating effectively in a dynamic, evolving environment.
- Travel periodically to meet clients and participate in industry events, with increased travel during key conference seasons.
The ideal candidate is a strategic, consultative professional with experience in financial services, practice management, and enterprise program implementation. They should be comfortable working with senior stakeholders, managing complex initiatives, and translating business challenges into scalable solutions.
- 3-5+ years of experience within an RIA, broker-dealer, bank, insurance organization, or similar financial services environment.
- Proven experience managing complex workflows, client lifecycle processes, or advisor-focused operating models.
- Strong understanding of practice management concepts and scalable processes within wealth management or financial services organizations.
- Experience designing and implementing adoption programs, training initiatives, or enterprise enablement strategies.
- Ability to lead discovery workshops, diagnose operational challenges, and recommend practical solutions.
- Strong strategic communication skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts and influence executive audiences.
- Experience creating presentations, educational materials, thought leadership content, or best practice frameworks.
- Familiarity with CRM platforms and wealth management technology ecosystems.
- Understanding of compliance, security, and integration considerations within financial institutions.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify patterns, interpret data, and develop actionable insights.
- Self-starter mindset with the ability to take ownership, navigate ambiguity, and drive initiatives forward independently.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-changing, high-growth environment with evolving priorities.
- Strong presentation skills and confidence engaging with senior leaders and large audiences.
- Ability to work core hours aligned with Mountain, Central, or Eastern time zones.
- Experience in a startup or high-growth technology environment is a plus.
- PMP or other relevant professional certifications are considered an advantage.
- Experience with wealth management technology platforms and data analysis is preferred.
- Competitive base salary ranging from $150,000 to $170,000 USD.
