INPATIENT CODER in Auburn, New York at Auburn Community Hospital

Responsible for the complete, accurate and timely assignment of diagnostic and operative procedure codes and the assignment of the appropriate and optimal DRG / NY APR DRG’s for all patient medical records both concurrently and at the time of discharge.Must be accredited as CCS - Certified Coding Specialist, RHIT – Registered Health Information Technician or RHIA – Registered Health Information Administrator. Must maintain continued education credits and AHIMA membership. Preferably 3-5 years Inpatient Coding experience.

Salary - $22.90 - $31.02 per hour
