Job Description
The electrical apprentice work will consist of the installation, addition and/or repair of electrical systems, conductors, equipment and associated materials within the commercial electrical industry. This position reports directly to field management.

Job Specific Responsibilities
Assist team members by performing given tasks as directed by supervisors.
Understand language, terms, and skills in use of tools and techniques on the job.
Think ahead to determine how to maximize production and simplify installation.
Demonstrate safe work habits.
Demonstrate proper care of personal and company tools.
Keep all materials, tools, and equipment in a neat and orderly fashion.
Maintain a clean, organized, and highly productive work area.
Bend conduit with hand, mechanical, or hydraulic bending equipment.
Install raceways, junction boxes, and electrical equipment.
Install branch and large feeder wire.
Use all power tools such as saws, threaders, wire pullers, KO sets, port-a-band.
Install trim materials such as receptacles, switches, light fixtures, and other repetitive electrical products.
Work in the dirt digging trenches and performing excavations as required. Using hand tools and power equipment.
Receive deliveries and complete check-in procedures per company guidelines.
Wear personal protective equipment and tool belt at all times.
Operate and work from personnel lifts.
Comprehend drawings, specifications, and wiring schematics.

Qualifications Required
Demonstrate mechanical skills and the desire to learn.
Evidence of previous electrical experience (if any).
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must be self-motivated and detail orientated.
Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills to work in a fast paced environment.
Have reliable transportation, current driver’s license, and high school diploma or GED.
Must be able to respond to overtime requirements with short notice.
