Part Time Customer Service Representative in Galloway, Ohio at Parr Public Safety Equipment

Responsibilities:

• Answer and direct incoming phone calls in a professional manner and efficiently
• Prepare customer quotations, process invoices, and assist with order-related inquiries
• Support sales and customer service efforts by identifying customer needs and recommending appropriate products and services including uniforms and equipment
• Provide accurate uniform sizing, fittings, and measurements for vests and uniforms
• Replenish inventory and monitor floor stock
• Maintain and update product pricing and information within NetSuite
• Utilize Microsoft Excel and other Office applications for data entry, reporting, and recordkeeping
• Maintain confidential company and personnel information with discretion and professionalism
• Assist with general office duties and administrative projects as assigned

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong customer service and communication skills with the ability to interact with customers, vendors, and team members
• Professional verbal and written communication abilities
• Working knowledge of general office procedures and administrative practices
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a busy office environment
• Basic mathematical and data-entry skills
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with NetSuite ERP software
• Experience in the automotive parts, emergency vehicle upfitting, fleet, or public safety equipment industry
• Previous customer service, administrative, and retail experience

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit and work at a computer workstation for extended periods
• Ability to operate standard office equipment, including computers, telephones, printers, and copiers
• Ability to communicate effectively in person, by telephone, and electronically
• Ability to occasionally stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift materials weighing up to 30 pounds

Compensation and Benefits:

• Starting at $20/hour
• Part-Time/non-exempt

Schedule:

Monday to Friday 8:00 am 2:30 pm (30-minute unpaid lunch)

Schedule may be adjusted as needed to accommodate customer needs and ensure appropriate coverage during staff absences
