Job Description

About Crosswalk Health, Inc.

At Crosswalk Health, we are reshaping pulmonary care delivery by empowering primary care providers—especially those in rural and underserved communities—to better manage chronic conditions like COPD while reducing overall healthcare costs. COPD is the third leading cause of death in the U.S., a major driver of hospital admissions, and responsible for over $60 billion in annual costs.

Our Mission is to deliver high quality, virtual-first, guideline-based pulmonary care at scale to measurably improve Americans’ respiratory health. We are working toward a health care system that provides patients, their families, and the clinicians who care for them access to affordable, high quality, and data-driven care and supports regardless of where they live.

Key Responsibilities
  • Scheduling & Coverage: Manage regional RT schedules, coordinate absences and schedule changes, resolve call-out coverage needs, and arrange backup or float coverage when available.
  • RT Support: Serve as the primary contact for routine operational questions, communicate updates and expectations, support new RTs, and escalate recurring performance or attendance concerns to Operations Leadership.
  • Clinic Relationships: Maintain strong relationships with clinic managers, address routine scheduling and operational concerns, and communicate changes affecting clinic operations.
  • Clinical Support: Continue performing scheduled spirometry services while serving as a resource for routine workflow, equipment, technology, and documentation questions.
  • Regional Oversight: Monitor staffing and coverage needs, identify potential service disruptions, participate in operational check-ins, and provide weekly updates to Operations on staffing, coverage, clinic concerns, and other relevant issues.
  • Other duties may be assigned as necessary to meet business and operational needs.
Decision-Making & Escalation

The Regional Lead is expected to independently resolve routine operational issues, including scheduling adjustments, call-out coverage, routine clinic communication, and coordination with available float RTs.

Hiring and termination decisions, formal discipline, payroll, compensation, contract negotiations, major client escalations, and HR matters remain the responsibility of Operations leadership. Significant or unresolved issues should be escalated promptly.

Qualifications
  • Active Respiratory Therapist credentials and all required state licensure
  • Strong clinical performance and understanding of spirometry
  • Demonstrated reliability and attendance
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage changing schedules and priorities
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Comfortable communicating directly with clinic managers and healthcare professionals
  • Ability to remain calm and solution-oriented when unexpected issues occur
  • Strong knowledge of Crosswalk workflows and expectations
  • Must have weekday availability and be willing and able to provide backup clinical coverage when needed.
What Success Looks Like
  • Consistent and dependable clinic coverage.
  • Timely resolution of routine scheduling and operational issues.
  • Strong relationships with RTs and clinic partners.
  • Proactive identification and communication of regional concerns.
  • Consistent clinical quality and minimal need for day-to-day intervention from Operations.
Compensation Structure

Regional Leads receive a recommended starting leadership stipend of $750 bi-weekly, in addition to their established daily rate of $245-$300 for clinical spirometry service.

Regional Lead stipends may vary based on the size and complexity of the assigned region, including the number of clinics, RTs, scheduled clinic days, customers, and overall operational workload.
