Job Description

Account Executive APAC

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Account Executive APAC based in India.

As an Account Executive APAC, you will drive revenue growth by developing strategic sales opportunities and helping hospitality businesses modernize their operations through innovative technology. You will own a sales quota across the Asia-Pacific region, managing the full sales cycle from prospecting and lead qualification to negotiation and closing. Working closely with regional sales leadership, marketing, and product teams, you will build strong relationships with hotel owners, general managers, and operational decision-makers. You will combine deep hospitality industry knowledge with a consultative, commercially focused approach to demonstrate the value of integrated hotel technology solutions. You will also leverage AI-powered tools to improve prospect research, sales preparation, and customer engagement. This high-impact opportunity offers significant ownership, regional exposure, and the chance to shape sales strategies in a dynamic, remote-first environment.

Accountabilities
  • Own and consistently achieve sales quotas across the APAC territory, focusing on larger, more complex, and strategically important opportunities.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle, from prospecting and initial engagement through discovery, solution presentation, negotiation, and contract closure.
  • Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline by combining inbound leads with proactive outbound prospecting, industry events, networking, and regional roadshows.
  • Lead consultative and technically informed sales conversations with hotel owners, general managers, operations leaders, revenue managers, and other hospitality decision-makers.
  • Understand each property's operational workflows, business challenges, technology infrastructure, and commercial objectives to recommend relevant solutions.
  • Communicate the value of hospitality technology platforms, including property management systems, integrations, automation, and connected hotel operations, demonstrating their potential to improve efficiency and guest experiences.
  • Build trusted relationships with prospective and existing customers, identifying opportunities to expand engagement and support long-term commercial partnerships.
  • Collaborate with regional sales leadership, marketing, and product teams to refine sales strategies, strengthen market positioning, and improve conversion rates.
  • Use AI tools to research target accounts, understand hotel technology environments, prepare for customer meetings, develop proposals, summarize conversations, and create actionable follow-up plans.
  • Apply sound judgment when reviewing AI-generated content, ensuring that customer-facing communications and sales materials are accurate, relevant, and professionally tailored.
  • Maintain accurate customer relationship management (CRM) records, sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and activity reporting to support effective planning and predictable revenue performance.
  • Share successful sales practices, market insights, and AI-enabled workflows with colleagues to improve team effectiveness and consistency.
  • Support the onboarding, mentoring, and development of newer sales colleagues, acting as a resource when they encounter complex opportunities or challenging negotiations.
  • Take ownership of results in a fast-moving commercial environment, adapting sales approaches to changing market conditions, customer needs, and business priorities.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated success in sales, ideally within hospitality technology, hotel software, or related technology solutions, with a consistent record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
  • Alternatively, substantial hospitality industry experience, preferably including hotel operations, combined with a strong track record in commercial roles such as sales, business development, or marketing. Direct SaaS sales experience is not essential if you have a deep understanding of hotel operations and strong commercial results.
  • Strong understanding of how hotels operate day to day, including property management workflows, reservations, revenue management, operational processes, and the challenges faced by hotel teams.
  • Proven ability to conduct consultative, value-based sales conversations and communicate confidently with stakeholders at different organizational levels, from hotel owners and general managers to technical and operational teams.
  • Experience managing complex sales opportunities, building pipelines, negotiating commercial agreements, and closing strategic deals.
  • Practical familiarity with CRM systems, pipeline management, forecasting, and structured sales processes.
  • AI Fluency Level 2 or equivalent hands-on experience using AI tools in everyday sales activities, including account research, call preparation, proposal drafting, and follow-up communication.
  • Ability to critically assess AI-generated outputs, apply independent judgment, and ensure that sales communications remain accurate, relevant, and tailored to customer needs.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to establish credibility and influence decision-makers.
  • Strong commercial awareness, analytical thinking, resilience, and adaptability, with a proactive approach to achieving ambitious targets in a high-performance environment.
  • Ability to work autonomously, manage competing priorities, and collaborate effectively with geographically distributed teams.
  • Experience selling to multi-property hotel groups, enterprise customers, or other large strategic accounts is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with hotel property management systems (PMS), hospitality technology platforms, software integrations, or connected hotel ecosystems is desirable.
  • Previous experience mentoring, onboarding, or supporting the development of other sales professionals is a plus.
  • Willingness to embrace continuous learning, evolving sales processes, and technology-driven improvements in a remote-first organization.
Benefits
  • Competitive compensation: Base salary plus uncapped commission, with the base representing 60% of on-target earnings (OTE) and commission at target accounting for the remaining 40%.
  • Unlimited earning potential: Earn above your OTE through uncapped sales commissions.
  • Flexible paid time off: Benefit from an unlimited paid holiday policy, supporting flexibility and work-life balance.
  • Company share program: Participate in the company's share program and share in its long-term growth.

  • Learning and development: Access an annual learning budget of €300, with additional support available for high performers.
  • Dedicated development time: Benefit from monthly EDGE time focused on exploring new ideas, developing skills, growing professionally, and elevating your impact.
  • Remote work flexibility: Work within a remote-first environment, with opportunities to work from abroad for a few weeks each year.
  • Flexible working arrangements: Benefit from flexible and hybrid working options, depending on your location and role requirements.
  • Home office support: Receive a home office setup budget and a monthly work-from-home allowance.
  • AI-enabled productivity: Access Claude tokens to automate workflows, enhance sales productivity, and develop more efficient ways of working.
  • Relocation opportunities: Explore relocation options after one year of service, subject to applicable policies.
  • Location-specific benefits: Access additional benefits that vary by country and may include healthcare, retirement plans, team events, and social activities.
  • Global collaboration: Work alongside curious, ambitious professionals in an international environment focused on innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Career growth and ownership: Enjoy autonomy, meaningful responsibility, and the opportunity to influence regional sales performance and strategy.
