Automotive Repossession Operations | D'Iberville, MS | Full-Time | On-Site

Holmes Motors is looking for an experienced automotive repossession professional to manage our vehicle recovery operations across four dealership locations.

This is NOT a traditional collection, account management, or finance position.

We need someone with hands-on experience in vehicle repossessions, voluntary surrenders, recovery assignments, and repossession team management who understands the operational process from beginning to end.

What You'll Do:

• Manage daily voluntary surrender and involuntary vehicle repossession operations.
• Direct repossession personnel, coordinate assignments, and manage outside recovery vendors.
• Track vehicle recovery activity, outstanding assignments, deadlines, and results.
• Ensure recovered vehicles are properly secured, photographed, inventoried, and documented.
• Coordinate recovered vehicle processing with Service, Body Shop, Insurance, Reconditioning, Wholesale, Sales, and Legal.
• Handle customer concerns involving vehicle surrender, repossession, redemption, and personal property.
• Maintain compliance with applicable repossession laws, company procedures, and vehicle safety requirements.
• Monitor recovery performance, operational expenses, and team accountability.

Direct automotive repossession or vehicle recovery operations experience is required.

Our ideal candidate has:

• Experience managing or coordinating voluntary and involuntary vehicle repossessions.
• Working knowledge of repossession procedures, recovery documentation, and applicable compliance requirements.
• Experience supervising repossession personnel or coordinating recovery agents and vendors.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• The ability to handle difficult customer situations professionally.
• Experience tracking recovered vehicles through processing and final disposition.

Preferred: 5+ years in automotive repossession or vehicle recovery operations and 3+ years in a leadership or supervisory role.
