Mobile Truck and Trailer Mechanic in Boise, Idaho at ALPHA TRANSPORT

We’re looking for a skilled and safety-focused Mobile Truck & Trailer Mechanic to maintain, diagnose, and repair our fleet of fuel-hauling trucks and trailers. What You’ll Do:

• Diagnose & Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues on fuel-hauling trucks and trailers.
• Perform Preventive Maintenance to keep equipment in peak condition.
• Conduct Major & Minor Repairs, including brake systems, suspension, tires, air, and electrical systems.
• Handle Minor Diesel Engine Repairs and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Maintain an Organized Work Area to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Collaborate with the Team to ensure timely repairs and minimize downtime.

• Experience in Truck & Trailer Maintenance (fuel tanker experience a plus!).
• Valid Driver’s License (CDL preferred but not required).
• Own Basic Tools to perform job functions.
• Basic Computer Skills to log work and complete reports.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Welding Experience (a plus but not required).
• Safety-Oriented Mindset with attention to detail.
