This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong customer service or inside sales skills who enjoys solving problems, building customer relationships, and working as part of a collaborative, fast-paced team. Experience working with OEM customers or within an industrial environment is highly desirable.

Salary Range $60,000 - $70,000 based on experience plus uncapped commission potential.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS - The following list of essential job functions is not exhaustive and may be supplemented as necessary based on business needs.

• Communicate with customers primarily by email and phone, responding promptly and professionally to questions and requests.
• Prepare quotations, proposals, product information, and literature for customers.
• Research products and technical information to help identify solutions that meet customer requirements.
• Work directly with manufacturers and suppliers to obtain pricing, availability, technical information, and other product details.
• Track and escalate back orders and customer requirements to maximize fill rates and exceed customer expectations.
• Provide technical and product support based on customer needs.
• Develop and maintain positive, professional relationships with customers, manufacturing partners, and suppliers.
• Collaborate closely with EIA's sales, operations, warehouse, and technical teams.
• Assist with receiving, stocking, packing, shipping, and occasional product delivery when business needs require it.

SPECIFIC EDUCATION, JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY

• A solid and dependable work history.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education, technical training, or certifications are a plus.
• 1–2+ years of Customer Service or Inside Sales experience, preferably in an industrial, manufacturing, distribution, OEM, or similar environment.
• Previous experience with international markets, especially Asian Market, helpful
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, automation, pneumatic, or hydraulic equipment and components is preferred but not required.
• A strong willingness and ability to learn EIA's extensive product offering.
• Strong research and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking abilities.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Excel.
• ERP experience preferred; Epicor Prophet 21 experience is a plus.
• A positive, cooperative attitude and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Ability to lift approximately 25–50 pounds when necessary.
