Production Associate - Product Handler, Marination in Fredericksburg, Pennsylvania at Bell and Evans

The Production Associate – Product Handler is responsible for performing a variety of duties related to the processing and handling of poultry products. Responsibilities may include product handling, inspection, processing, packing, weighing, moving, and other production-related tasks.

Team members are expected to follow all company standards for safety, quality, productivity, and food safety while completing assigned duties. Other responsibilities may be assigned by supervision as needed.

• Perform a variety of poultry processing duties in accordance with established safety, quality, and production standards.
• Handle and inspect poultry products to ensure they meet established quality requirements.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and company procedures while performing assigned tasks.
• Work efficiently to meet established production speeds and department goals.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Follow instructions from supervisors and department leadership.
• Be willing and able to work in other departments or positions as needed based on production and staffing requirements.
• Work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced production environment.
• Work in a variety of environmental conditions, including hot, cold, wet, and noisy areas.
• Safely work around industrial equipment and follow all applicable safety procedures.
• Stand for extended periods and perform repetitive movements involving the arms, wrists, and hands.
• Lift, push, and/or pull materials weighing up to 40 pounds.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervision.

• Previous poultry production or food manufacturing experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to learn and perform various production duties.

This position requires employees to work in a production environment that may include hot, cold, wet, and noisy conditions. The position requires extended periods of standing, repetitive use of the arms, wrists, and hands, and the ability to lift, push, and pull up to 40 pounds.

Employees must be willing and able to work in different departments and production areas based on business and staffing needs.
