The Role: Crew Member, Grounds ManagementDivision: Park Commercial LandscapesWhile we provide the environment, we need you to provide the expertise. As part of Park Commercial Landscapes, you will be a primary architect of landscape health, appearance, and site safety across commercial properties in Alberta. Working alongside experienced team leads, you bridge the gap between field execution and clean, high-precision results that keep sites running smoothly and looking good—no matter the season.One Group, Diverse OpportunitiesWhile this position is anchored within Park Commercial Landscapes, you are joining the broader Park Landscape Group network. Across Western Canada, our team operates four specialized brands (Park Commercial Landscapes, Jenron Creative Landscapes by Park, Altus Pools by Park, and Park Supplies). That means you gain exposure to diverse scopes—from commercial grounds care and civil sitework to high-end residential design-build, pool installations, and material supply—giving you cross-training opportunities, variety, and year-round career stability across our Alberta operations.Your Daily Impact

Horticultural Excellence: Perform professional lawn maintenance (mowing, edging, aeration) and garden bed care, including the planting, mulching, and pruning of annuals, shrubs, and trees to promote site curb appeal.
Equipment Mastery: Safely operate and maintain a variety of commercial landscape machinery and tools (from zero-turn mowers and blowers to trimmers), utilizing digital asset and job tracking systems like Aspire and SiteDocs.
Proactive Execution: Live our "From Start to Satisfied" approach by executing with precision, maintaining site cleanliness, and ensuring every property meets quality standards.
Safety Leadership: Live our core value of Working Safe & Working Smart by participating in daily tailgate meetings and hazard assessments (FLHAs) to maintain a safe, hazard-free job site.
All-Season Versatility: Transition to comprehensive commercial snow and ice management from November through April, maintaining a flexible schedule to ensure client site safety during Alberta winters.

The Essentials for Growth (KSAs)To truly thrive in this role, you’ll need a solid foundation of skills and the right mindset:

Knowledge: Familiarity with horticultural care, site-specific hazard assessments, and Alberta OH&S regulations.
Skills: Proficiency in operating commercial landscape equipment; comfort using mobile technology and digital tracking systems (e.g., Aspire, SiteDocs) for time and safety tracking.
Abilities: Physical capacity to lift up to 50 lbs, stand and walk for extended hours in varying seasonal weather, and bring a strong "Can-Do" Attitude to a fast-paced team environment. Valid Alberta Class 5 Driver’s License is a strong asset.
