This is a senior leadership opportunity to build and scale a newly formed, multidisciplinary organization spanning clinical engineering, data warehousing, data science, and analytics.
You will shape the strategy for data-driven clinical engineering, advanced treatment planning, AI/ML capabilities, and modern data infrastructure.
The role connects clinical science, digital platforms, advanced analytics, automation, and AI-enabled decision-making to measurable outcomes.
You will lead teams that translate clinical needs into scalable algorithms, decision-support tools, and production-ready digital capabilities.
Working across R&D, Digital, Regulatory, clinicians, customers, and portfolio teams, you will align priorities and drive end-to-end execution.

This is a remote role with a strategic and hands-on leadership scope in a complex, regulated healthcare environment

• Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team of clinical engineers, data warehouse engineers, data scientists, and analytics professionals, establishing a shared vision, operating model, and culture across disciplines.
• Define the strategic direction for data-driven clinical engineering and own roadmaps covering treatment planning, analytics platforms, AI/ML capabilities, and data infrastructure in alignment with R&D and business priorities.
• Lead the development, evolution, and maintenance of scalable, cloud-native architectures that integrate multiple data sources into unified platforms and provide modular services, advanced analytics, and high-quality datasets for clinical research and operational insights.
• Build and deploy capabilities for data-driven clinical outcomes using real-world data, modeling, simulation, advanced analytics, and AI/ML to improve treatment quality, predict outcomes, and reduce clinical variability.
• Drive advanced treatment planning solutions by translating clinical treatment goals into scalable algorithms, AI-assisted workflows, and decision-support capabilities embedded within digital platforms.
• Leverage AI and machine learning to deliver predictive and prescriptive insights that support portfolio strategy, product differentiation, workflow automation, and next-generation digital capabilities.
• Collaborate with Digital and Automation teams to translate clinical algorithms, analytics, and AI-enabled insights into scalable, automated, governed, and production-ready solutions integrated into end-to-end workflows.
• Partner with clinicians, customers, R&D, Digital, Regulatory, and portfolio teams to align priorities, incorporate feedback, and ensure effective deployment of solutions.
• Define clinical, operational, and business KPIs, measure outcomes, and communicate value creation and progress to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
• Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, evidence-based decision-making, appropriate risk-taking, and continuous learning across the organization.

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering, data science, biomedical engineering, computer science, or a related scientific discipline, completed and verified prior to the start of employment.
• 8+ years of experience in clinical engineering, digital health, data analytics, or related technical domains within private, public, government, or military environments.
• 5+ years of experience leading technically specialized teams, including people leadership, organizational design, and talent development.
• An M.S. or Ph.D. in engineering, data science, biomedical sciences, or a related discipline is an asset.
• Experience with clinical treatment planning, digital dentistry, dental devices, or regulated healthcare environments is an asset.
• Demonstrated ability to translate clinical or scientific problems into scalable, data-driven, or digital solutions.
• Strong understanding of analytics, modeling, simulation, and AI/ML methodologies applied to clinically informed or healthcare-related problems.
• Experience leading teams that apply AI and machine learning to clinical, scientific, or digital workflow challenges, with an emphasis on real-world deployment and measurable outcomes.
• Demonstrated ability to translate AI/ML capabilities into prioritized clinical and business outcomes rather than research-only initiatives.
• Hands-on experience with data warehousing, cloud data platforms, or enterprise analytics ecosystems, including self-service BI, real-time dashboards, and high-fidelity datasets.
• Experience partnering with AI/ML specialists, automation teams, and digital product organizations to operationalize models into scalable and governed solutions.
• Proven cross-functional leadership skills, including stakeholder alignment, prioritization, and execution within matrixed organizations.
• Strong business acumen and the ability to connect technical investments with portfolio strategy and customer value.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills, including the ability to engage effectively with senior leadership.
• Decisive and comfortable working with ambiguity, with the ability to balance speed, rigor, innovation, and risk.
• Agile, growth-oriented leadership mindset with a focus on collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.
• Ability to travel domestically up to approximately 10%.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employment visa sponsorship.

• Fully remote position in the United States.
• Expected compensation range of $187,600–$257,950, including base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible.
• Compensation may vary based on relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and experience.
