As a Virtualization Specialist, you will help operate and maintain mission-critical VMware environments supporting essential enterprise technology services. You will be responsible for platform availability, monitoring, incident resolution, service requests, and controlled changes across a 24x7 operational environment. Working with technologies such as VMware Cloud Foundation, vCenter, ESXi, vSAN, vROPS, and vRLI, you will help ensure reliable and resilient infrastructure performance. The role combines hands-on administration with structured operational processes and technical documentation. You will also contribute to automation, platform upgrades, and migration initiatives as opportunities arise. • Administer and maintain mission-critical VMware virtualized environments, including VCF, vCenter, ESXi, vSAN, vROPS, and vRLI.
• Monitor platform alerts and proactively support the availability, stability, and performance of the virtualization environment.
• Investigate and resolve incidents while handling service requests and executing controlled infrastructure changes.
• Provide continuous 24x7 operational coverage to maintain service availability and respond to critical events.
• Follow established operational procedures and contribute to reliable incident and change management practices.
• Document technical procedures, operational processes, and solutions while keeping the knowledge base current.
• Support VMware migrations, upgrades, and platform improvement initiatives when required.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency through automation and standardized processes.

Requirements:

• Demonstrated experience administering VMware environments in enterprise or mission-critical settings.
• Strong knowledge of VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF), vCenter, ESXi, vSAN, vROPS, and vRLI.
• Experience working in 24x7 environments where platform availability and operational continuity are critical.
• Proven ability to monitor alerts, troubleshoot infrastructure issues, and resolve incidents efficiently.
• Experience executing controlled changes in production environments while following established procedures.
• VMware VCP certification or higher is desirable.
• Knowledge of automation tools such as PowerCLI and vRealize is an advantage.
• Experience supporting VMware migrations and version upgrades is a plus.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a structured approach to incident resolution.
• Ability to document technical procedures clearly and collaborate effectively within an operational technology team.
