Radiology Technologist (Dodge City Clinic) in Dodge City, Kansas at Pratt Regional Medical Center Corporation

Summary: Performs radiographic and other diagnostic imaging procedures to assist physicians in the diagnosis of diseases and injuries. Provides radiology support to Bone & Joint providers and staff while maintaining accurate records, supplies, and equipment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The following duties are essential to the position. Other duties may be assigned.

• Performs radiographic and other diagnostic imaging procedures in accordance with established specifications, standards, and safety protocols.
• Escorts and assists patients to the x-ray area and prepares them for imaging procedures.
• Remains available to providers when patients are scheduled in the clinic in the event x-ray services are needed.
• Pulls, reviews, and prepares x-rays and other imaging records in advance of scheduled patient appointments.
• Files and maintains clerical records related to films and imaging studies.
• Prepares and sends imaging records or films for mailing upon patient or provider request.
• Assists radiology-related needs, including locating missing films or imaging records.
• Orders and maintains adequate supplies necessary for radiology services.
• Performs basic maintenance and routine checks of radiology equipment and reports equipment issues as needed.
• Maintains compliance with applicable radiology, safety, and patient care standards.
• Assists other Bone & Joint staff members with tasks when time is available and primary responsibilities have been completed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
