LOCATION: HOLLYWOOD, MD

STATUS: FULL TIME

JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented IT Specialist to join our team. This entry-level role is ideal for someone looking to grow their career in IT while supporting day-to-day operations and assisting the IT Manager. The successful candidate will provide technical support for workstation setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting across the organization

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist with the setup, configuration, and deployment of workstations, laptops, and peripheral devices.Provide first-level technical support to end users, resolving hardware, software, and connectivity issues.Troubleshoot and escalate complex issues to the IT Manager or appropriate support channels.Maintain inventory of IT equipment and ensure proper documentation of assets.Support onboarding and offboarding processes by preparing and recovering IT equipment.Perform routine maintenance tasks such as software updates, antivirus checks, and system backups.Collaborate with the IT Manager on infrastructure projects and system upgrades.Ensure compliance with company IT policies and security protocols.

Provide support for conference room technology and remote access tools.Perform other duties as are necessary and/or required.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Associate degree or technical certification in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience) and 0-2 years of experience Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearanceBasic understanding of Windows OS, Microsoft Office Suite, and common IT hardware.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication and customer service skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience with ticketing systems and remote support tools. Familiarity with Active Directory and basic networking concepts. Exposure to cybersecurity best practices.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: 

Ability to traverse manufacturing facility.
