Kitchen/Cook in Aiken, South Carolina at Mellow Aiken LLC

The position of line cook consists of managing the daily preparations of food items for a station or a specific area in the kitchen and cooking and plating all food orders in an efficient, healthful and attractive manner. At Mellow Mushroom we strive to provide guest not only with great service but excellent food. Pay rate is based on experience.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies
• Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces)
• Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
• Clean up station and take care of leftover food
• Stock inventory appropriately
• Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
• Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
• Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers

Shift:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Evening shift
• Morning shift
• Night shift
• Weekends

Experience:

• Cooking: 1 year (Preferred)
• Restaurant Experience: 1 year (Preferred)
