Account Executive, CoStar Data & Analytics

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Account Executive, CoStar Data & Analytics based in Canada.

This role is responsible for driving new business while managing and expanding an established client portfolio.
You will use a consultative sales approach to demonstrate the value of data, analytics, and market intelligence solutions.
The position covers the full sales lifecycle, from prospecting and product demonstrations through closing, onboarding, training, and renewals.
You will build trusted relationships with commercial real estate professionals, including brokers, owners, corporations, and investors.
The role combines business development, account management, industry expertise, and client-facing engagement.
You will represent the products at industry events while developing a strong professional network and market presence.

Accountabilities:
  • Identify, prospect, and pursue new business opportunities across the commercial real estate industry and related markets.
  • Clearly communicate the value of data, research, analytics, and market intelligence solutions to prospective clients.
  • Manage and grow an assigned portfolio of clients by understanding their needs and developing tailored solutions.
  • Own the full sales cycle, including prospecting, discovery, product demonstrations, negotiation, closing, onboarding, training, and renewals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers, property owners, corporations, investors, and other commercial real estate professionals.
  • Conduct client-facing meetings and product demonstrations, including in-person engagements when required.
  • Develop deep knowledge of the commercial real estate market and the available product portfolio to provide credible, relevant insights.
  • Represent the business at industry events and develop a long-term professional network.
  • Identify opportunities to expand existing accounts and drive additional revenue through effective account management.
  • Maintain a strong focus on customer satisfaction, responding to client needs and taking ownership through to successful resolution.
  • Consistently work toward and exceed assigned sales targets and revenue objectives.
  • Stay informed about market developments, customer priorities, and industry trends to strengthen sales conversations and client relationships.
Requirements
  • At least 3 years of successful B2B sales experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited, not-for-profit, in-person college or university.
  • Demonstrated history of exceeding sales targets and delivering measurable commercial results.
  • Experience managing client relationships and supporting customers after the initial sale.
  • Valid, current driver’s license.
  • Ability to successfully complete a driving record/driving abstract check and demonstrate responsible driving behavior.
  • 4+ years of successful outside B2B sales experience is preferred.
  • Experience selling data, research, analytics platforms, business intelligence, financial services, marketing solutions, information products, commercial real estate offerings, or related solutions is preferred.
  • Client-facing experience within the commercial real estate industry is strongly preferred.
  • Strong consultative selling skills, with the ability to establish trust and build rapport with clients.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong ability to manage and grow a client portfolio while identifying opportunities for additional revenue.
  • Genuine interest in commercial real estate and willingness to develop strong expertise in the industry and product portfolio.
  • Results-oriented approach balanced with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to thrive in a competitive, fast-paced environment and remain motivated by performance-based earning potential.
  • Adaptability and willingness to quickly learn new products, concepts, and market developments.
  • Strong listening and questioning skills, with the curiosity to understand client challenges and uncover opportunities.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a high level of ownership and accountability.
  • Strong professional commitment and a demonstrated history of sustained performance with previous employers.
  • Must be currently authorized to work full-time in Ontario, Canada; work visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
